Are you looking for modest cookware set for day-to-day cooking? I don’t know about you, but I’ve already found one for my family kitchen!
Say Hello to my daily workhorse – Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12-Piece Cookware Set.
With this kitchen set, I don’t even bother to transfer the food to a serving platter! I place them on a heat-resistant mat around my dining table when it’s time for the meal. As a result, I have to clean a lot fewer dishes at the end – convenient it is!
But that’s not the reason I favored it the most! When the recipe calls for the stove cooking and then straight into the oven(?) – Who has the time to use multiple pots and pans interchanging in the midst? I sure don’t!
That’s not all! Cuisinart empowers me in many ways. That’s the reason I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to share this Cuisinart Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware Set 12 pc Review with all of you!
Cuisinart MCP-12n – What’s inside the Package – Let’s Unbox!
Once I unpacked all those bits and pieces from the package, I got a total of 12-pieces:
- An 8-inch open skillet.
- A 10-inch open skillet.
- A 1.5-quart saucepan + lid.
- A 3-quart pot/saucepan + lid.
- A 3.5 quart saute pan + lid cover.
- An 8-quart stockpot + lid.
- A steamer insert for stockpot + lid.
My Initial Impression:
The eclectic silver finish was impressive! The sharp-glaze is fascinating. The ergonomic design is not the best one that I’ve seen so far. But the overall touch and feel with slightly curved handles were comfortable enough for me.
FYI: I bought it on Amazon. For Cuisinart MCP 12n best price, Amazon is still the prime destination for me!

How I Use Every Piece Of This Cookware Set
When I bring a new cookware set, I always try to take the best advantage by using all the pieces available. If you are not that savvy a cook, then it’s OK too. As you grow as a home chef, you’ll eventually end up using each of those cookware pieces.
Let me share my strategy on how I prefer to use this kitchenware to achieve the optimal result and best output. If you think that this 12pc set is a tad overkill, then there is an 8pc set also available.

The Skillets
I frequently use these when I’ve to cook something in the open air that doesn’t need stewing or steaming. When a quick scrambled egg is the order of the business, I bring it to settle the score! And you should do the same.
They don’t include a cover. But you can use other lids if you must!
The Stock Pot
It’s an ideal container for my stocks and soups! The wide flared handles make things more comfortable to use it. Let me warn you, though – a fully loaded stockpot can be cumbersome to maneuver. So, handle it with caution!
The Sauce Pans
The Saucepans are my preferred choice for stewing and boiling. The tapered edges make the pouring easy and dripless. At the same time, the lids sit down into the pot snugly.
As a result, It provided me with a great seal, and also it reduced the spatter and spill to a minimum.
The Straight-Sided Sauté Pan
It can be a perfect starting point for newbie cooks if you’re going to cook casseroles or a stew. The helper handles the opposite of that long handle making it convenient to transport this pot from stovetop to oven.
My advice is not to overfill this pan! You should leave sufficient space for the lid to sit down in the pot.
The Steamer Insert
I mostly use this piece to drain pasta. Other use cases could be layering the steamer and making steamed vegetables. Or you can use it to reheat tamales or seafood with this handy steamer insert. The surface is wide and flat. As a result, it can be an ideal spot for lobster tails as well!
Cuisinart MCP 12NCC Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12 piece Cookware Set – features
The “Heat Surround Technology” with Tri-Ply Construction
The interior cooking surface has a stainless steel layer. The inner core consists of Pure Aluminum. And the exterior body has Brushed stainless steel metal.
The Aluminum layer (sandwiched in the middle), ensures even heat distribution. It also prevents creating hotspots on the pots and pans while cooking.
That’s not all! Cuisinart has perfected the most recent “Heat Surround” Technology in this cookware. As a result, the heat is going to distribute evenly along the bottom. And also, on the sides of the pots and pans, when you put it on the stove.
The stainless steel cooking surface is ideal for perfectly sauteing vegetables, delicately simmering sauces, boiling several servings of pasta, or browning meats anytime you cook.
On the other hand, you can control the temperature precisely like a professional chef with the help of that Aluminum core.
Contemporary Design of Handles
This cookware set consists of distinguished handles with an updated design. It looks modern and professional while allowing you a comfortable grip. Besides, the riveted stainless handles stay awesome around the stove. Maneuvering the skillets and pans becomes seamless!
Drip-Free Rims
I found the tapered shape of the rims convenient and easy to use. It allows you drip-free pouring! That’s one of the desired features from a user’s point of view.
Because you don’t want your kitchen dirty by pouring unwanted food particles and liquids from your pots and pans, do you?
Tightfitting Covers
All the lids are stainless steel. It would be convenient if they could make it with glass! Nonetheless, the performance of the lid cover is quite convincing.
All the lids fit well on top of their counterparts. As a result, you can keep the moisture and nutrients intact while cooking.
For that reason, I found this cookware set pretty much useful for simmering, searing, browning, and frying. If you aim for healthier and more delicious cooking, you can trust this kitchenware.
Dishwasher Safe
This cookware is dishwasher safe. Although I prefer cleaning it with my hand, I used my dishwasher to verify the claim.
I didn’t experience any problems so far. But, I’d suggest opting for manual cleaning when it comes to the stainless steel cookware and utensils in your kitchen.

At the same time, all the lids & handles (along with the pots & pans) are oven safe up to 550F. You can use this cookware under a broiler within that limited temperature.

When I was using non-stick cookware, I had to use a specific set of utensils. I didn’t like that idea. I wanted to apply different types of spoons and spatulas, depending on my cooking style.
With this cookware set, I’m free to use anything I want! I am no more limited to using wooden or plastic utensils. You can use any spoon, spatula, or fork of your choice.
